People’s first resources in thinking about ethical problems are usually the cultures or traditions in which they grew up. To connect problems in business or professional ethics, and the application of ethical theory, to people’s lived ethical experiences these traditions need to be made explicit. This very short guide to the world’s main ethical traditions is intended as a starting point to get students in a multicultural class to start thinking about their own ethical principles and engaging with those of colleagues from different cultures.
